  • 1/3 cup fresh blueberries plus extra for garnish
  • 2 tbsp blueberry preserves or jam
  • 1 tbsp honey plus more for drizzling

  • fresh thyme or basil for garnish
  • 8 slices prosciutto or thin-cut bacon optional, for wrapping

Equipment

  • Baking sheet or grill rack
  • Parchment paper
  • Small mixing bowl

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) or prepare grill for medium indirect heat.
  2. Mix brie, cream cheese, honey, garlic powder, and black pepper until combined.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, press in blueberries, and spoon preserves on top.
  4. Wrap with prosciutto if using, then bake or grill for 15 to 18 minutes until melted and tender.
  5. Drizzle with honey, garnish with thyme, and rest 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Trim the brie rind for the smoothest, creamiest filling.
  • Wear gloves when seeding jalapeños.
  • Fill ahead and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
