Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup warm milk
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 2 garlic cloves finely minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Activate the yeast in warm water with sugar, then mix with flour, salt, yogurt, olive oil, and milk.
  2. Knead the dough until smooth, let it rise, then divide and roll into ovals.
  3. Cook in a hot skillet for 1 to 2 minutes per side until puffed and spotted.
  4. Brush with garlic butter and finish with parsley.

Notes

  • Do not over-flour the dough when rolling.
  • Cook on medium-high heat for the best puff and color.
  • Store leftovers well wrapped and reheat in a skillet.
