Mix Parmesan, panko, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
Whisk the egg in a separate bowl.
Dip each dry pork chop into the egg, then press firmly into the Parmesan coating on both sides.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, then sear chops for 3 minutes per side without moving them.
Add butter to the pan, then transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until internal temperature reaches 63°C (145°F).
Rest chops for 5 minutes before serving.
